Today, under the pretext of knowledge(gnosis - he is talking about Gnosticism) , heretics rise against the Church of Christ. They pile on their books of commentaries. They claim to interpret the gospel and apostolic texts. If we are silent and do not oppose them with true teaching, famished souls will be fed with their abominations. - Origen

The Orthodox Church
Written by Rev. Antonios Alevizopoulos, Th.D., Ph.D, and translated by Rev. Stephen Avramides
I'm a former evangelical who goes now to a roman Catholic church without having chosen a denomination.
On my blog, I'm going to explain in more details why I left "evangelicalism" behind.
Is it possible to be an Eastern Orthodox while considering the Bible in the same way one considers other Christian books written between 200 A.C. and today?
